Why am i getting a blank page?

I have installed XOOPS b4 and not had this problem.

I have justed installed it i go to the index page and i get a blank page


----codde on the blank page when views through IE view source option








------------------------------------------------


I never had this problem so have no idea where to look

hi you can turn on the debug mode
in most case u can find the reason from the debug info

i am using 2.007 (latest version), its a fresh install wiht nothing added or changed (except for teh debuging now)

1 is your php installed correctly?
2 re-upload your common.php file

1) php should be working fine as phpbb2 works well
2) just reloaded the common file and still getting same prob

check to see if there is whitespace after ?> in mainfile.php

if you mean the end of mainfile this is what i got

if (!isset($xoopsOption['nocommon'])) {
include XOOPS_ROOT_PATH."/include/common.php";
}
}
?>(ends here)

that from mainfile.php

If there is/are extra line(s) after ?> (you can't scroll your cursor down under ?>), then this is not an issue.
