Hi

We are a team of 8 on an internal Intranet. I've set up XOOPS on our server with IIS6 and W2&3 Server, php, MySQL etc. It all works fine so far.

We have a store of software that is kept in a folder structure of varying levels depending on the manufacturer, creator, version number etc. What I want it to be able to enter a download entry on Xoops, and have the hyperlink open an FTP style box that lists the actual folders beneath it allowing the user to navigate their way down the list until they eventually arrive at a zip or executable of their choice.

Is this possible with the Download module or does it have to specifically point at a particular file?

Thanks

I Think I've cracked this myself.

By placing 'ftp://.....' in the homepage or download link rather than 'http//....' it tries to open an FTP window.

Trouble is that I need to configure IIS (presumebly) to accept FTP's?

If anyone knows how to do this please let me know!

Sorted it.

By typing \\NetworkHost\Folder\Folder2 in the 'Home Page' part of the download input screen, when I click that it gives me exactly what I want.

Brilliant.
