Creating a menu block that fits in wiht the others

Hi, evey time i try adn create a menu block it looks differnet form the other blocks

Some all all of the below happens

a) text is wrong size
b) the wrong font
c) there are gaps in between the links

Any help would be great, i have tried everthing i can think of

create a class for the menu block u are using..

ie.

then enter your urls's or whatever

then create the class in your themes/style.css file

ie .menublock {width: 100%; font-size: 8px; color: #000000;}

of course u don't have to use those, but if u go thru your css file you'll get the idea of what does what.. you could also use the td class and name it to your mainmenu block and that will use the mainmenu block css class
