Gallery/album in shared hosting

Have anybody successfully installed any gallery/album module in a shared hosting environment. I am using Lunarpages and they have disable_functions set on their php.ini. It seems that xoopsgallery will not work if that is turned on.

Does anybody at least know of any other gallery alternatives that may work with disable_functions? Or, do you know how to override disable_functions. Please help.

There are three: exec, site, dl (don't know exactly what the last 2 are).

ur gonna struggle with a lot of things with that.. the other 3 will probly be for ssh access etc..

i should contact ur host and ask them if theres a way round it or whether they can/willing to set it on a site to site basis.. disable_functions is a php.ini command only, and can't be over ridden elsewhere..

I have an account on LunarPages as well.

Not all of their servers have all the functions disabled. You may ask them if you can move to another server that doesn't have them disabled.
