Hi.

I've updated my XOOPS from 2.0.6 to 2.0.7. After the update i get an error message:

Script execution not allowed

If i put back 2.0.5 - > 2.0.6 files, everthing works fine.

Please help

I've got the same problem too!

This is an added security measure in 2.0.7 which will kick in, if an executed php file is not within XOOPS_ROOT_PATH.

And.... what do we have to do ?

All files are beneath xoops_root_path

What kind of webserver are you running on?

OS, Webserver, Version, PHP version...

It's a new security measure that has been added in 2.0.7 so people hosted on the same machine than you cannot trick XOOPS and make it execute one of their scripts.
It looks like the value we check is not initialised correctly (there are differences between platforms, php versions...)

Could you both please tell me (by PM if you dont want everybody to see them):
- your server config (apache, iis and if module or cgi)
- the content of your XOOPS_ROOT_PATH variable
- the content of your PATH_TRANSLATED var

Or maybe (better...) send me a page with your phpinfo() ?

same problem here, but with an apache server version 1.3.27, php 4.3.2, MySQL 3.23.49 on freebsd 4.6.2.

Same issue on mine aswell, Server 2003 IIS6.0 on PHP 4.3.7 With MySQL 4.0.20a. Im a bit confused on this feature, what scripts are we talking about? like executing a .JS file or what?

Installed the Re-Release version of XOOPS 2.0.7 package.

Still the same problem with a new fresh installed site.
