Hi All,

I'm running bd_cmsc great paypal donations module on my site, and it seem to be working fine. However, I actually recieved a donation today, however it is not showing up when I goto reconcile under the treasury section. I have manually logged into my Paypal account, and the donation is definately there. Is there anything I need to do to get reconcile to work?

Make doubly sure that you have the correct email address in the modules preferences. If you don't, it won't know where to look on paypal.

Yeah, the email address is correct, otherwise the payment wouldn't have shown up in my Paypal account. I just don't know if there is anything inparticular I need to setup to reconcile the IPN, as when I goto reconcile I'm given a message that there are no payments to import.

brash, the reason why he wanted you to check your email, is because you have to make sure you use the primary email account with the module. if not, donations won't show up in the module.

if you used the primary email and the donation still didn't show up, that's a different animal. if that is the case, please report a bug here

I have the same problem and I have only one email address on my paypal account.

Could it have anything to do with that my account was not verified and got verified a few days later?

I did a donation after the bank account verification but it still does not show up and I get this message "There are no new IPN records to import!"

When I click on "Click here to test IPN"
I get no error messages just this:

Debug mode activated

Xoops Donations Module

PayPal Instant Payment Notification script

See below for status:
----------------------------------------------------------------
Opening connection and validating request with PayPal...
OK!
Executing test query...PASSED!
PayPal Receiver Email: my_paypal@email.com
Logging events

----------------------------------------------------------------
If you don't see any error messages, you should be good to go!

it's quite possible that if you don't have one of the higher account levels, that might affect whether or not you can use IPN.

i don't remember, i'll check paypal docs.

I just changed the email address to my paypal business account and made a $30 payment but it still does not work.

Hi Xoopers,

Well I can shed some light on the donator side with Brash. I am the one that made the donation he is talking about. I have a Paypal Business Premier Account and I also have a paypal card in my wallet. So just to throw this in for general information it must be on the configuration side of things. Another push to get me to donate was that I see this module everywhere and I trust brash and I wanted to see how it works. (or if it works.) I was thinking about running it on my site myself.
