I couldn't find a notice of this problem so here it goes:

My hosting company moved my files to a new server and i have just changed the DNS pointers of my domains to the new servers.

Since then i have a problem with my XOOPS site. It occurs only in the 'HOME' menu option and not in the others (such as 'forum', 'topics', etc).

the error displayed is:

You may need to set the permissions again (CHMOD 777) on your /cache, /uploads, and /templates_c directories.

This should clear up all the other errors as well.
