I get this MySQL error once in awhile and I didn't have any problems with enigma, or smf. I installed it with the persistent connection OFF. Could it have to do with the rss feeds? I have most of them set at an hour.

Anyway kudos to all the developers fantastic project!
My ISP has increased the connections but tells me that it could be a script not closing out properly.

The RSS feeds are not activated thru the database, so that can't be it. It could be an error somewhere, but unless there is some kind of connections report, it'll be hard to pinpoint. What you could do is decrease the MySQL queries by using the cache feature for blocks.

Thank You, sorry it took so long to get back. The problem has seemed to go away after they increased the connections
