Has anyone had reports of users logging into the XOOPS site and getting nothing? I have users who claim that they have had this problem and I have not been able to reporduce their reported errors.

I have used different browsers, a regular account, dialup account & T1, and have tried it during different times of the day without a problem.

Any suggestions?

Thank you.

Almost all of the problems we've found relate to one of these things:

Internet security settings - not allowing cookies,
Cache settings not refreshing,
Needing to clear cookies.

We have the users check those things in order. Here's a link to our FAQ's that solve 99% of user registration / login / page refresh problems: Internet Browsers and our site.

Hope this helps.

also if they using firewalls like norton or zone alarm and they have Block http referring enabled then this will stop them logging on.. XOOPS needs http referringto be allowed..
