Adding User Detail

Hi everyone,
what I'm tring to do is adding a few more fields to the user detail of xoops. I've looked into the code and found some of the places where I might have to do the changes, but I thought it might be a better idea to post this on the forum.

It'll be very nice if I could get a few tips on what files I should change or which one's I should not touch. You know so that I won't mess every thing up before begining
