ok, I am frustrated!!!!! I have designed a few themes and hacked a few and never had this problem before.

** When I open my site using my new theme (or trying to use it) I draw a blank page. I have checked that everything is in the right place, all the style links are correct, and I have triple checked the style sheet for missing { or ;.

I have compared the code from the new theme and my older ones and even some d/l ones from some of you here, and I cant see any differences. I have validated the HTML and it was all fine too.

Any ideas? When I check the source of my blanks page it shows

I know it is going to be something BLINDINGLY obvious...Ive just been looking at it for too long.

Thanks
Jen

It probably is, I get those type of errors all the time I stoped kicking myself tho, as it didn't improve my productivity

One thing tho: blank page: turn on php-debug, and if that doesn't help, switch to smarty/mysql or blocks debug, so you can analyse what is going wrong.

The page you're getting is the default MSIE blank page, so the theme isn't loaded at all.

ooooh, nice avatar
[/kissup]

Somehow it can't read the theme file. But what strikes me as odd is that it tries to read it as a template, which it isn't. Is there a db:design/theme.html instance in your theme.html? Or does that text appear anywhere in your files?
