1.How do I get "Main Menu" to show to unregistered users?
2.How do I make my own link in "Main Menu"?
3.How do I get news block things on my index page? Like ones similar to PHPnuke. W/O linking to a different site.

Set permissions for group via system/groups

I gave up on this, and just went to Multi menu, it is easiest and allows more permission options as well

You set your blocks up under system/blocks

Also, this is a very simplified answer. Setting up news can be a good deal more involved. Especially, if you are trying to upload RSS or other news feeds.

I have downloaded XOOPS , i have my webserver , and i have my domain, but how do i set it all up?

(and does anyone know where those video tutorials are for installing XOOPS with an FTP program)

Do you rewind time once in a while? You have asked the same question over and over and over. Plenty of people have tried to help, given you permission to PM or email them - or even offered to do it for you.

If the replies, you have got, are not good enough, I think you need some basic knowledge about webservers and FTP.

Continuing to ask the same question in other people's thread is just rude and won't get you much further
