Why does my all the topics in my forum always start off as unflat (whatever u call it lol)

and how do I change it so that it stays flat always?

Go to "edit account" and change your default comment view to flat - this will pick up on the forums as well.

How Can I make this also the default for all of my users??

Ps: I had this a few months ago..with a older XOOPS version and then they told me to change something in a php file???

If you make the same change in Default Comment Display Mode in System->General Preferences it will do this.

Only helps new users, doesn't change existing accounts though.
