It really depends on what type of content you are wanting ti add.

There are modules for articles, news, and headlines. If you are wanting to add pages of static content, you may want to look at cjay content, wfsection, tiny content, and freecontent.

I have used freecontent and cjay content for wrapping static html pages. I'm sure others can speak about the other modules.

If you can describe what you are wanting to do, I'm sure someone can point you in the right direction.

John

I use tinycontent and freecontent for wrapping static html pages. Both are easy to use and pretty straightforward. I tend to make the pages offsite and upload them. I probably use tinycontent more, but I like freecontent for its wonderful WebDigest.

As far as demos go? I don't know. I don't think you'd see much except wrapped pages. Just download one or two content modules and try them out. You are sure to find one or two that will fit your needs.

how do i get a new menu to appear with the content pages..
instead of a link that says "tiny Content" and only one content page appears...

If I am understanding your question correctly, when you add new page wrap you can choose whether it is visible, then whether it should be in a submenu. Then that page becomes visible in the submenu off the main tinycontent menu. And if memory serves, I believe the very first tinycontent page you create is what shows up in the main "tinycontent" menu entry in the main menu when you first begin.

You'll have to forgive me. I completely replaced Xoops' main menu (so I could easily split things up into more than one menu category like this site does) and I can't remember all the core main menu things all that well. But I think that is the gist of it.

Just a quick comment on another tool: I like iContent. It seems most stable and robust in my application.

I use Multimenu - create the content on Tiny Content - and create a Tiny Content based menu for some of the sections - and Multimenu to create links to those menus.

Works well - although there is a bit of messing about when creating the initial links.
