Is there a way that a user can edit is profile to always get the theme he wants from the available list when he comes back to my site?

it was commented in the edituser.php

but i don't know whether uncommenting these code will do.

I hacked the system to have a field in useredit that now allows my members to change their default theme. My only question now would be why wasnt it included and why do we see a commented line showing that somewhere down the road XOOPS team decided not to go ahead with this?

Is there something I didnt catch? I dont want to have hacked code if there is a way to do it without.

It may have been commented out due to buggy code, but don't take my word for it.
