I have installed the Chiefbutz's Chat Module but when I press IRC-config in the Admin page, I end up with a completely blank page. Anyone...?

i got the same, but the chat module does actually work..

u have to edit the index.php in the irc-chat modules folder and enter the address of your irc-chat server etc.

1stly tho goto http://chat.cjb.net and create a chatroom for yourself.. then make a note of the url it gives u for the chatroom..

the instructions are in the readme file, and it's self explanatory in the index.php file itself..

for example u need to edit this > modules/irc-chat/index.php

on line 28 >



replace "ur chatroom url here" with the url from the newly created chat room u made.. and all should work :)

It looks like I will have to re-work that script even though I haven't done a thing with XOOPS for years, and i never planned to.
