I was creating articles, and looking at section index pages, wishing I could put images in the summary section.

So I thought that the heck, i inserted the same html code from the article that displayed the image, into the summary section, and lo and behold a thumbnail size image now shows up in the index page.

Just thought this might be useful to others, because the summary box is just a text area box and I assumed it wouldn't except html code. which leads me to wonder is this an sort of undocumented feature of text area fields or just an accidental feature of XF-Section?
