I'm posting this because many of you here use PayPal on your XOOPS sites. PayPal account holders should have recieved an email from the real company explaining the fraudulant attempts to get people to send their information.
I shouldn't have to mention this, but I will anyway. NEVER send your credit information in an email and never accept attachments that are suspicious or from someone you don't know, especially in this case. If a program were available for download it would be on the PayPal Site, not sent via email. Further, any real company would have you log into your account on their own site to make changes.
Common sense and caution prevails. I don't use PayPal, but my father does. I don't have a copy of the warning letter sent from PayPal. Anyway, be on the lookout for the following email if you havn't heard anything about it.
