I was wondering if XOOPS 2.0.5.2 the same as 2.0.6 RC?

If not is there a full build of XOOPS 2.0.5.2 for new installs? Or are we supposed to install Is XOOPS 2.0.5.1 and then apply the upgrade patch to XOOPS 2.0.5.2?

no, they are not the same.

I don't know why the RC is the only one available for full download, since this is still a Release Candidate and not labelled for production sites yet.

Installing 2.0.5.1 and then apply the patch for 2.0.5.2 seems to be the easiest way, yes.

The full XOOPS 2.0.5.2 package can be found at the sourceforge downloads page. This package should really be added to the downloads page ...
