cannot commit as root.

cvs does now root user to commit any files. Is there a way to bypass this restriction?? I really want to commit files as a root user.

What CVS? The XOOPS CVS? Of the sourceforge.net XOOPS project? No, none of those projects let you commit changes to CVS without you being a member of the project. If you mean something else, please elaborate.
