How to insert a banner code?

I use a theme with no banner area but I need to install it.

How?

When your not sure of a module or have a question I would say use the search box on the top right and enter a key word of what you are looking for. I am a newbe (under statement) and i use search ALL the time because I do not want people to know how stupid I am with XOOPS

if the link i gave you is not what your looking for try a search for "banners". I like this because i am not good with waiting for answers.

If you mean just a banner at the top like the one on this site with the "XOOPS - Just use it!" slogan etc. then it is set in the theme/[yourthemename]/theme.html, which is the template for all pages.

All you need to do is add something like this:

<td width="50%"><{$xoops_banner}></td>

beside your td tag that has your logo image in it in your theme's theme.html file.
