XCgallery is the best imo.

I don't have any problems, have you checked your server supports these galleries and GD.

Also have you checked any CHMOD issues,

And finaly have you used the php debug in XOOPS to see if it displays any warnings.

Debug can be found in:

admin ---> system admin ---> preferences.

Another thing, theres a block on the top right of this site, you could put 'blank pages' or 'white pages' in there and click the button titled 'Search'

You could also try the wiki:

Trouble shooting Blank Page

Hope this is of help.

Millions thanks to TOM,I'm from Singapore, where are you from? It's great to know you.

My problem at last resolve. Two more questions :

1. If I intend to use xoopsgallery + xcgallery in my web site and share the imagemagic upload tool, is there any problem on it?

2. In xcgallery admin preference setting, the "Target address for the 'See more pictures' link in e-cards", what I suppose to set?

Plse advise,
Nice to know you master!

I'm from England.

1) I wouldn't of thought so, however my experiance with other galleries like MAGalery, MyAlbum, Xoopsgallery is there a little buggy and not the best.

I have run three albums before with no probs (MYAlbum, XCG and XoopsGallery).

You can set XCG up so people can only submit to certain area's, you can also allow them have or not have there own album, plus many more features.

2) I leave that as my home page (www.mydomain.com)

I'm presuming your unsure what this means, well when a E-cad is sent out it allows you put a 'See More' link in there, now if you have your gallery open for every one to see including anom users you could set it as www.mydomain.com/modules/XCGallery/ however if you require registration this would be pointless so it would be more affective to just them back to your main site home page.

Hope this is of help.

Yet another problem with xcGal, again with pics uploading.
When I upload some JPEG files, I get a blank page. However, some JPEG files get uploaded. I set a 1 GB limit for each user, and a very big limit for a filesize, so the problem should not be in the filesize.

Moreover, those files are uploaded to folders on the server, but they are not shown anywhere in web-interface. I also cannot delete them later within FTP server. I double-checked permissions for folders: everything's fine.

Can somebody explain me, what is going on and how can I fix it?

After all it seems to be, that problem is in GD 2.0
The same JPEG file rewritten with ACDSee can be uploaded. It's a damn shamanism.

Another question: I can't edit pics in the album. I receive the 502 error (Bad Gateway). Why?
