Does anyone know of a module to create modules? The ability to generate base modules on the fly and then tinker with them later would make it so much eaiser to develop new modules. Add in the ability to create/interact with MySQL tables by generating the sql script. Thoughts?

Funny you should mention that. It is being discussed in this thread.
2.1 Module Roadmap (Page 5)

There is one for exoops called ModuleCreator. Not sure how difficult it would be to port. But, I think it is the type of thing you are talking about. (exoops is based on a pretty old version of xoops).

Yeah, I'm familiar with that module---but I just don't care for E-Xoops. I tried it sometime ago. What I'm looking to accomplish is to have a module that can be used to create "forms" to interact with respective DB tables (that it creates). Essentially, the module would could be used to create web applications via new modules (that it creates). Can anyone help me out?
