I just finished installing with all green lights and got a blank start page. I read through numerous old posts - and the wiki files - on the subject and tried numerous suggested solutions to no avail. On the other hand, I was able to turn on the debugging feature but unfortunately after looking over the mentioned files I haven't got a clue what's wronng.

I'm sorry to add to the already massive amounts of posts on this subject but I was hoping someone with more experience could possibly use the error messages to put me on the right track.

They are:

Parse error: parse error in /home/dakahuna/public_html/templates_c/default^theme.html on line 72
Notice [PHP]: Undefined index: lang_rememberme in file templates_c/db%3Asystem_block_login.html line 7
Notice [PHP]: Undefined index: sslloginlink in file templates_c/db%3Asystem_block_login.html line 10
Notice [PHP]: Undefined index: xoops_lblocks in file class/smarty/Smarty.class.php line 612
Notice [PHP]: Undefined index: modules in file templates_c/db%3Asystem_block_mainmenu.html line 10

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Delete all the files in the templates_c folder, it looks like the default theme file is corrupted...

I tried that and I am getting the same error messeges still....

then you have a corrupt template file in your database. You'd better reinstall or check your db integrity.
