commenting out that line did nothing for me

i think any event will show in the Todays Event block and the Upcoming Event block. Once the start time has passed it should disappear from both blocks. If the event hasn't started it is still a Today's Event and an Upcoming Event

i think it should be otherwise where today's event should not be display in upcoming event regardless of it time

right now...Once the start/end time time has passed it still appear in both blocks....it will only disapear the following day

or maybe it should be event will show in the Todays Event block and the Upcoming Event block. Once the start time of the todays event starts it should disappear from the upcoming event block.

but not all event has start and end time

You're right. it disappears from both blocks after midnight. I noticed that last night. It should disappear after the end time of the event

Found another problem

when you look at the Agenda view, either week or day, it shows an event at the start time only

It should block off the time and show the event for the entire time it is on, start and end time, like Outlook calendar does.

Right now I use Outlook to track calendars for employees and Contact.

I wanted to set up an intranet because Outlook can't be shared across a network and Business Contact Manager for Outlook is crap and won't share across the network. No surprise there, it's Microsoft, so it never works as advertised.

But if extcal can't display appointments properly, it's not really useable

How can I get this to show the entire time that an event happens?

If someone could fix extcal so that it blocks out an appointment instead of just giving the start time it would be the perfect module

Bump!

I think if someone can fix this so it shows appointments properly it will be an Awesome module and can finally get out of beta

I think, it will require a serious rewriting of the module to achieve it.

There are some existing jQuery plugins that could be used, like:

http://arshaw.com/fullcalendar/

http://www.web-delicious.com/jquery-plugins/#calendar

http://www.webappers.com/2009/08/04/jquery-weekly-calendar-plugin-inspired-by-google-calendar/

http://www.packtpub.com/article/calendars-jquery-1.3-php-jquery-week-calendar-plugin-1

but it will require somebody who is really good in jQuery and JavaScript.
