Actually, I'm the only admin!! That's why I'm "afraid"!... And nobody can have access to the admin normally... I hope there is no hacker around it

I've seen that only once...

Yep, just once... Then I hit the refresh button and it was back to normal...

I noticed it cause the logo wasn't here and the "other" sentence wasn't written in "bold".

As you said, it's weird... I just hope it won't happen again (but I'd like to know why it happened...).

I'm still using XOOPS 2.06, is there any security problems with it?

turns out there was a *possible* security issue with XOOPS 2.0.x prior to 2.0.7, this issue applies to almost all cmses, it's an issue in a shared hosting environment where another user on the same server could include *your* mainfile.php

anyways, this sounds like a question for a XOOPS guru to help with, i'm not sure how that block could have changed appearance, because even if your browser was loading an old cached webpage, the Make a Donation button should still have appeared.

Thanks for your reply!

So, I hope a "guru" will be able to help me ^_^...

About the donations button, if a person can change the sentence, he is also able to change the url to the button I think.

Anyway, let's hope it was just a strange thing, and not a "hacking" one ^o^.

Hi, I'm back again!!!

I've had my first paypal donation today. The person who did it requested to be listed as a generous donators, as I read in the details... But in the same time, there is a "Custom" line where it's written "Custom: Anonymous"...

To sum up, the informations were:

Item Amount
 $
1.00 USD
Shipping
:
 $
0.00 USD
Handling

 $
0.00 USD
Quantity

Item Title
:

Donation
List your name?: Yes
Item Number
:

110
Custom
:

Anonymous
Date
:

Jun282004
Time
:

22:33:27 PDT
Status
:

Completed

So, what's that? Paypal ask twice if we want to be listed???

Please, help me if you can!!

Thanks in advance!

list your name? is one of the options revealed to the user, to let them know what they chose (whether yes or no), and is used by the script to determine whether or not they wanted to hide

Custom is a field for the script to know the donators username. the problem is, if they didn't log in, can't know their username, lol, so it defaults to anonymous

i might change this action later on to at least show their real name.
