we update xoops.ir to XOOPS 2.3.2a for test . after update newbb in module admin we dont have problem
first we update newbb from 3.0.6 to 3.0.8 after that again update 3.0.8

As reported in a couple of other threads, this problem is solved in 2.3.2a - posts are no longer lost when either updating the module in modules admin or when "synching the forums" from within CBB admin.

I had an error at updating with XOOPS 2.3.0 RC to XOOPS 2.3.0 RC2. At updating CBB 3.08 writes an error.

Got error 134 from storage engine

How it to correct?
Now I on XOOPS 2.3.2a. The error remained.

Not sure..... the query have been raised from time to time in the past. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't.

I've found it goes away if I try it a few times consecutively.

It could be related to some rare and exceptional problem in MySQL.
A suggestion is to repair the xoops_bb_xxxx tables with
repair table table_name;
analyze table table_name;
in phpMyAdmin.

Ah yes, Ghia has a point.

I've not had the problem for while and this might be because I use the xoopscare module to do automatically what Ghia suggested.

xoopscare module highly recommended by me - get it fromhttp://xoops.instant-zero.com/ - and is excellent with XOOPS 2.3.2a

Don't thank me..... thank Ghia for jogging my memory and thank Instant Zero for yet another excellent module

If there was a vote for including another module in the core download I'd nominate "xoopscare"
