Thank you very much for the link Skenow!

I could only find Frameworks from it. Where can I find Xoopseditor?

Thank you for your help

You can get both of them here:

http://xoopsforge.com/modules/wordpress/index.php/149

The Xoopseditors link is the second link (the one in the middle):

I had a site built for me running xoops. The person that built it for me is no longer available to me so I need to learn how to manage the XOOPS part of website. I use a mac. Is XOOPS compatible with my mac? If not what can I do short of buying a pc?

The XOOPS files are stored on your server, so it doesn't matter if you access them from your PC, Mac, or Linux.

Thanks, I would like to upgrade to the latest xooops version but it downloads as a zip file, how do I open a zip file on a mac and is there a potential for losing data?

See stuffit, as far as the data loss, you can relax :).

Remember to backup before the upgrade

Ok, I tried to figure it out and not bother you guys, but I'm really stuck. I backed up my site, I downloaded the XOOPS upgrade, I followed the instructions, (moving files around as instructed). But these 4 remaining steps I can't figure out:
3. Upload the content of the htdocs folder over your existing files
4. Access <your.site.url>/upgrade/ with a browser, and follow the instructions
5. Follow the instructions to update your database
6. Delete the upgrade folder

Especially step 3. Please help! BTW thanks for the stuffit, worked like a charm!
