I dont know kiovi, maybe you can give me links to exmaples? And HTMLArea now is the best, maybe kiovi is better i dont know, i love HTMLArea :)

hervet - I am obvioually doing something wrong with this hack..

I do what I beleive is proper and when I try to go to the main page all I get is a blank screen in both IE and Netscape. I have the site re-direct to AMS for the main page. I did put in the re-direct fix as well for gecko/netscape.

Is it possible you or someone else can email me the files with the hack instatlled? PHP coding is not my strong suit.

I saw and fixed the issue with my edits, and now I get to my main page and all other areas fine. But any of the submit sections where the editor is supposed to be I still get the blank page issue.

any help appreciated!

I follow all step, but always I have same result.
Blank page when I want add news.

If I follow step to the docs directory, and then news work fine, with editor.

hi all
i have tried twice the mini guide hack,not luck yet.
i also get blank pages in any page where there is a xoopsform. Also in the admin area in wfchannels blank pages and in news i can add a new article but the xoopsforms are the standard, not koivi.
i see a few of us are having the same problem blank pages,
i know the instruccions are quite clear, unluckly not for all.

this editor and this hack they will be in lots of use, maybe someone has the hack ready to download? or pdf?

Which version of XOOPS does this work on? Which version of kiovi are you using for this mini "hack" tutorial? It seems interesting if a user can get it to "work". Can you give us a little more details please?

I have installed Herve's patch and it works perfect. Thanks for the great tip.

Is there any way to increase the size of the text area vertically, so that I can see more lines of editable text?
