XOOPS_ROOT_PATH is defined in mainfile.dist.php in the line:

define('XOOPS_ROOT_PATH', '/path/to/xoops/directory');

Can you check in the current mainfile.php file which value is set as XOOPS_ROOT_PATH in this line?

Since it writes XOOPS_ROOT_PATH and not the actual value, it indicates that mainfile.php is not included correctly on the page.

Thank you all for your help.

At this point I feel frustrated that I'd rather do a clean instalation, but not for version 2.0.6.

What is the version that immediatedly precedes 2.0.6?

is it XOOPS 2.0.5? if yes WHY can't I find it any wheere?
Can someone please give me the link to download it

The immediate predecessor is 2.0.5.2

Previous versions of XOOPS can be found on the SourceForge pages

I got lost there!

I can't find a direct link to XOOPS 2.0.5

Could you please direct me? All what I see are patches for V 2.0.5

I follwed everything on this forum, and still cannot come up with an answer. Still got blank pages... installation was fine...this is my third different site, all other installation came out great, page came up.

The only issue i noticed which was weird to me, the full path for this site is like:

/home/vhosts/myhost.myhost.com (as an example)

So i don't know if that might be causing it.
