I guess both conditions must be true (permission + preference) to allow anonymous posting.

These are just notices you see when Xoops debug is on, they don't affect the way the module works. It's just PHP being picky.

I will try and clear them up before Christmas.

The anon posting pref is simply the way the original module was designed.
A thread is for life. Not just for Christmas.

Peekay can you include button for visitors to report an entry - maybe someone makes an rude or unwanted ad, if a users comes across such ads they can report it to the admin/or as chosen at the catads config.
