--Suggestion it will be nice if the title of comment to be autofielded with the title of thread/news..so filling of the field is not required..

may i ask...is workshop = smartsection ?


p/s: there is a XOOPS comment system improvement wishlist long time ago..wish some of it can be implemented in future

The title field seems to be autofielded in the publisher(blog) module but the test page is created with the simplewiki (workshops) module in which the title field is not getting auto fielded.

workshop = simplywiki

The site for which i needed this hack is already using 2.4 so i compared the files of 2.4 branch only, thus cant really say whether it will work with 2.3 branch or not.

Great news!

It's seems to me that the hack works with 2.3.3. I've tested it on local server.

Backup original 2.3.3 files, and copy hacked ones.

no it doesn't work for my 2.3.3b. you will be able to post the comment but after you click SUBMIT you get a blank page HOWEVER the comment is added.

True. I thought that it was my localhost problem.

The download link for this hack does not work.

Is it possible this hack to be included in XOOPS 2.5?

Does anyone have download link that work? :)
