This is great news... I have a customer site I'm just "ramping up" and I plan to use wfchannel.

I'll help test this to assist getting it into production as soon as it's ready.

I wrote a quick and dirty Sitemap plugin (and a couple of small bug fixes) on ver 2.03 - looking forward to the addition of the support for SEO and Tags.

So the new WF-Channel (the one your'e releasing in the next couple of days) will not have the ability to create categories and set each article to a specific article?

Not at the moment. The framework has all the required classes to do the job, but adding the features mentioned in the above posts just won't happen over night.

You could say that these features are in the roadmap and I need to do the module in stages or I will get bogged down with adding more and more features without having any real development cycle involved. So, before I start making all those changes, I want a stable version as the foundation and not a one that will fall apart as soon as I start working.

Sorry :)

PS: I did always say that I would never add categories to this module :)

This is suppose to be a simple module . There's several full featured article modules out there that have categories, etc. It would be nice if it was duplicateable though...

If you're not going to have categories, can the module be cloned?

How is this module coming up? Any chance to test it soon? I like it as a basic publishing module but have issues with previous version when it comes to using editors.

thanks.

Still working on this at the moment. I hope to have something a bit more final once 2.3.4 is released.
