Reupload your image folder, make sure the upload is in bianary format. Maybe the images are corrupt.

I already reupload all the images..still the same...what do you mean with binary format?

I've searched on code ctrl+u on firefox for "t_new-a.gif" its the new post image..and it wasn't found...what can it be?

the t_new-a.gif should be in /modules/newbb/images/default/english folder.

Most FTP programs handle this automatically, but sometimes can get confused and upload the file in the wrong mode, which makes the file un usable.

See if the file is in that folder. If it is see if it is corrupt or not.

If it is not there, reupload the entire /newbb/images folder.

Everything seems ok...my folder is x_brazilian_portuguese and not english...but everything is well done..but the images dont appear yet... please checkhttp://www.weblook.org/newbb+index.htm its in portuguese but i think you know well the structure..if you need any file to check please say so..i really need this working...

Well I see a whole section that calls the images missing in your source. Still not sure why.

And I was wrong on the path it should be:

/modules/newbb/images/imagesets/default

Make sure in the module preferences that you have the proper image set selected. Still seems that there should be some image as there is no option to completely turn off the images. But make sure the correct image set is selected and see what you get.


Another question, are you using a cloned/custom template set?

I already put the images on default folder and the problem remains...
What do you mean with "But make sure the correct image set is selected and see what you get."?
I have put the images on defaulf, english and x_brazilian_portuguese folders and no images appears...what can i do? Because I already all the forum configured..just that problem remains...

Hi again, I had a conversation with the developer about this issue. The thinking is that the URL-hack you are using may be breaking the images.

Past the following code around line 275 in newbb's xoops_version.php. The debug results will display in the module preferences.

require_once(XOOPS_ROOT_PATH.'/class/xoopslists.php');

$dirlist =& XoopsLists::getDirListAsArray(XOOPS_ROOT_PATH.'/modules/newbb/images/imagesets/');
