jd, I left the forum up as it is after the upgrade so you can see what it looks like, and point me in the right direction.

Thanks to all who have helped so far. I greatly appreciate it.

1 upload newbb 2.02
2 modify your theme and upload
3 run upgrade newbb1_to_2
4 update newbb
5 set permissions for forums and categories

No, you're helping a lot, and its great to learn (old dogs CAN be taught new things).

I have it up now, but the threads are still not visible. You can see it for yourself and tell me which way to go now.

Looks much better now but still have some work to do. First go to the forum admin page and reset permissions on all categories and forums. You need to do this for each one. See my category and forum creation tutorials if you need help. Looks like no view permissions are set.

Next see This Faq Page to fix the dropdown menus in your theme.

Any questions just ask.
