Bumping it again


Could there be a solution (don't know how to realise this, so some help is appreciated) to add an extra admin option: deactivate register user?
At this moment the admin can: activate or delete a user. Why isn't there an option to deactivate a user? In this case I don't mean banning a user, because then the user (who then is a guest) isn't able to visit your website anymore.

I don't think the fact that a usersname isn't usable anymore for other new registered users isn't a problem.
