How can I uninstall a module?

I deleted the chat module database and now I would like to uninstall it out of my module list, plz help me

to unistall an XOOPS module, go to system admin -> modules.
you will see all your installed modules. uncheck the active box for the module in question and click submit. you will now see an unistall icon (center icon on right. click on the unistall icon and thats it. note that the uninstall also removes tables from db.
