how do I translate Xoops?

I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction? I'd like to translate XOOPS into Danish, but I have no Idea where to start

Never tried it, but you would have to translate the files under language folder under root and under each individual module.

There are several Danish sites, do a search in the forums you will find them. You may want to contact them to see if you could get from them the Danish translation, so you won't duplicate what others have already done. Good luck.

kinda like: Dansk Oversættelse til XOOPS 2.0.6 lying around there ...

I tried the one in the download section - it's not the best translation possible, so I'd like to make my own
