I am new to XOOPS and have found very little documentation on creating custom blocks for a custom module. I have created a simple trouble ticket module, and would like to have a simple block that would show all open tickets. I tried just pasting the php code into a custom block, and it shows the data from the query when i click preview. But when I go to view the block on the front page its empty. Does anyone know of a good place with info on creating blocks?

Thanks for you help.

Not much documentation on creating blocks. One thing to check is that there is no need for bracket in the block.

Try to turn the debug on while you are working on your blocks or modules. Debugging info is extremely helpful in figuring out your codes.
