Just noticed that a couple IPs currently being banned by Xoops, has managed to get page contents using Google Cache feature. I ended up banning them using htaccess.

Does anyone have the same problem?

thank you for your suggestion. meta tag has nothing to do with IP ban.

Yes it is google cache, pulling cached page still requires you to go the original site. Don't know how meta tag will prevent people access your site.

I am not sure but it is likely that XOOPS "sees" google IPs instead of the banned IPs in case of cached page.

Htaccess has no problems banning IPs even cached pages.
