Hey all,

I'm running a freebsd 5.2 box, with apache 1.3/php/mysql and I've installed and used XOOPS before. I just created a module for my site, for simplicity call it blah. so in xoops_root/modules there exists a blah folder which from what i can tell complies with the module file structure. I've created modules before however this time after putting the blah folder into the modules folder, when i goto my administration menu, the modules section it does not list the blah module. So i tried downloading a module from XOOPS and i extracted the zip file and placed the correct folder into the modules directory, however when going to the administration menu and the modules section, neither the XOOPS module i just downloaded or the one i created are displayed.

Any ideas on what could be wrong?

Thanks.

EDIT: The only thing that comes to my mind really is possible permissions on the blah folder as well as the XOOPS module's folder. but the perms seem ok, example:

drwxr-xr-x 4 502 502 512 Jun 16 19:27 contact
drwxr-xr-x 9 root 502 512 Jun 12 01:24 donations

the contact module is listed but the donations module is not listed.

ahh found the problem, heh.

in the xoops_version.php file in the modules folder i had a typo.

$modversion['templates'][2]'description'] = 'Product Result Form';

i needed to add in that [

heh. ah well. at least it works now.
