I was using WF-Section 1 earlier this day and tried updating to version 2 via FTP. The new interface in the admin area is there and so is all the data. However, on my site the Drinking Games menu on the left is empty and there was a recent article section in the center-center at the very top.

After finding this issue it looks like I need some update script. Is this true and if so, when is it coming out.

By the way, I love all the new admin features in the new WF-section.

1) you are right an update is not possible by just changing the files and an update script is needed

2) an update script from WF-Sections 1.x to 2.x is on the todo list for the next release of WF-Sections 2.x. Can´t give you any estimate on that one though but after WF-Downloads seems stable now more love can be given to the next release of WF-Sections. (so its most likely the next release to come from WF-Team despite a very small bugfix release for wf-downloads)
