Table 'xoops_myalbum_cat' already exists

I have been trying to install myalbum 2.8 in my site but i keep getting that error message i cant find where this table is. I had 2.6 installed but i uninstalled it so i could installed 2.8. All i get though is this error message anyone have a clue how to fix this?

hi tonybrasscoe.

Perhaps, the un-installation had been failed.
There are two clues.

1) drop tables manually by phpMyAdmin
drop 4 tables like this:
- xoops_myalbum_cat
- xoops_myalbum_photos
- xoops_myalbum_text
- xoops_myalbum_votedata

2) rename the directory from myalbum/ to myalbum0/,myalbum1/, or myalbum2/.

Wow! thanks! you were right that did the trick! if i could hug you...joking no but thanks i was readdy to pull my hair out looking all over the place for those tables, it was right under my nose the whole time. i appreciate it gijoe.
