Can anyone help me in explaining how to clone a block/module?

Any help will be appreciated.

It's my understanding that there is no quick way of doing this. I believe you have to change everything within the module. It's not like cloning a theme or template. If I'm understanding you right and you want to run a module twice or more on the same site...

Thanks xpider for replying.

I'm trying to clone a block in the WFsection module as well as the News module in order to use them with different categories.

So I don't want to clone the whole module.

How that will make it easier to help

Hey mharoun, check this thread, I hope you find something helpful there (I guess you'd have to adapt things to WFS and News). The wiki and the Smarty manual are also worth a check.
Good luck!
