This page cannot be displayed due to an internal error.

If you are the administrator of this site, please visit the XOOPS Troubleshooting Page for assistance.

Error [Xoops]: Unable to connect to database in file C:\Apache\Apache2\htdocs\class\database\databasefactory.php line 34

While while installing I got these two errors:

Notice: Undefined index: HTTPS in C:\Apache\Apache2\htdocs\install\class\settingmanager.php on line 76

Notice: Use of undefined constant XOOPS_ROOT_PATH - assumed 'XOOPS_ROOT_PATH' in C:\Apache\Apache2\htdocs\install\index.php on line 258

Went to the Trouble Shooting Page, tried the to enabled debugging, that didn't work, also looked at my phpinfo, everything *SEEMS* fine (I could paste the phpinfo stuff here if ya'd like).

Just hoping someone could help me. Thx in advance.

Welp...I went ahead and uninstalled everything, then installed EasyPHP, now everything is up and running. Only prob I ran into is the following:

WARNING: File c:/program files/easyphp1-7/www/mainfile.php is writeable by the server.
Please change the permission of this file for security reasons.
in Unix (444), in Win32 (read-only)

Now...I even clicked on the advanced button and cleared everything. Still get that error. Any way to get rid of it? Thx.

That would be in the admin section, in a big red box, right?

If you're just testing it and not going online it won't matter, but if you are, you'll have to navigate to your XOOPS root folder and change mainfile.php to read only (right-click and tick the read-only box) I assume you have installed on a Windows comp?
