For my stupid trick of the day, I was playing around with themes and changed to a theme called flower. This apparently has overriden the blocks on the front page and now I can no longer log in. Anyway around this? Can I change a php file and get back in?

right you are. check this out: http://wiki.xoops.org/wakka.php?wakka=TroubleshootingBlankPage

you can also use to phpmyadmin to reset theme to default in the table xoops_config browse(theme_set) i f you are not sure about this procedure best try other solutions.
