how do I change a wrong date /time

Hi the date and time on my site are incorrect. I have looked everywhere and have yet to locate how to change this, today is June 26 and my site says June 27, anyone know where I go to fix this? Thanks.

To diagnose this, first run this script on your server:

echo 'GMT time: ' . gmdate('r') . "n";
echo 'Local time: ' . date('r') . "n";
?>

Hi Since you want me to run something on my server then I am under the assumption that this may be a server side problem. I would like to run the script however, I have no idea how to do that. I will e-mail my host and see if it can be fixed,

The information you posted isn't adequate to tell me what the problem is. Maybe you have the time zone set incorrectly in the XOOPS control panel and/or in your profile settings, or maybe the server's clock is set incorrectly.

The code I posted would help isolate the problem. If you copy and paste that into a new .php file, e.g. show_time.php, upload it to your server, and then run that script from your browser, it would show you what the server's clock is set to.

Hi Thanks again for the fast response. I hadn't even thought of the time zone in my profile settings. Darn scoll mouse, must have messed that up last time I was in there. That has fixed the wrong date on the calendar that is on my site, however the date listed on my forum is wrong, it has tomorrows date. The date is correct on my server and in control panel.
I appreciate the instructions on how to check my server date/time, I don't know php, but I do know how to make and upload files.
