Ok...Im really new to this XOOPS idea
I have a stupid question...but i dont know the answer to it.

On my website, i have the banner, which at the moment is an X, how do i go about changing that to an actual picture

this may be a silly question but have you uploaded the jpg to your server. if so have you updated through admin?

Note: Remember to effect all changes you must go to Sytem Admin -> Preferences -> General Setting [edit] -> and set "update module template.html..." to yes and then select go at bottom of screen. This will update your site to effect all changes (remember to go back once settings have taken effect and set same to no and update once again).

Top left corner? There is a Fort Chaos logo there.

Also, the site is closed to the public for maintenance?

How does everyone else change there banners. What am i doing wrong!?

ok...im computer challenged, im not sure to do all this stuff, i was lucky enough to get XOOPS going. Okay, pretty much I got my theme from 4theFort Website and i deleted the banner that said "your Site here" i have another banner that will fit in that space but i dont know how to do it. so could you walk me through this. please thank you

you will see that the extension is gif - not jpg now make sure you edit you theme.html to reflect this: http://s93429082.onlinehome.us/themes/lime/pagelogo.gif"

One more important point ... make sure you delete your browser cache content. This can often prevent new material being displayed.
