Can anyone help me? I have just tested all the things that I found in the net.
The problem is: I uploaded XOOPS to my subdomain in http://www.3x.ro, and everything went right. But when I try to make a module (like news) as the starting page, I only get a Blank Page. Well, when I turn it back to none module as the starting page, everything becomes normal. I have already made debug on, but I still get a blank page (no matter the kind of debug I turn on). Nothing is shown. I even put a ".htaccess" file with the files of my site with the line: ""php_flag display_errors on"; and nothing. I alredy re-installed the xoops, but nothing.
Is there anyone that can help with this boring problem?

yes same for me. i was able to load a custom block, but if i try to open with a module i mostly get a blank page, also on redirect after login. none of this happens if i do not open with a module. this occurred after i upgraded to 2.0.7

i had posted this issue before and i was directed to news item regarding mainfile.php.

define('XOOPS_CHECK_PATH', 1);

change the 1 to 0, and you're done...

this is the link: https://xoops.org/modules/news/article.php?storyid=1551

i changed this and it did not correct the issue.

Not sure it will help. Check your mainfile.php to see if you have extra whitespace after ?>

If you have access to config table, check if conf_id 4 has the right startpage value, such as news
