Moving Xoops

I was wondering, if it were possible to move my XOOPS to another location

right now i have it residing in a folder (http://www.spun-network.org/start) because i was using a redirect for it. but ive since deleted my redirect, and i want to put it in the root directory. if i do this, will i corrupt my file structure/database?
